Hello everyone,

For NJ PartyCasino and NJ partypoker, you may have already noticed that your test accounts share the same username, so you may receive emails from NJ partypoker, but with different Subjects for NJ PartyCasino and NJ partypoker, and you may receive Inboxes from NJ partypoker on NJ PartyCasino and from NJ PartyCasino on NJ partypoker.

As a result, you may have already noticed that after I review NJ PartyCasino and NJ partypoker, Rest ID builds, I always replace the Urls from SmartLinks to Final URLs instead. This is because both NJ PartyCasino and NJ partypoker mostly do not share the same builds, so using SmartLinks will usually direct the Urls to broken, dead, or invalid pages instead.

For example, building an ACQ LP on NJ partypoker and using its SmartLink in its Rest ID will direct to NJ PartyCasino’s version of the ACQ LP if its Rest ID is received on NJ PartyCasino, which will not be recognized as NJ PartyCasino does not already have its ACQ LP version built or need its version to be built, so the direction will be to a broken, dead, or invalid page instead, and building a MPP on NJ PartyCasino and using its SmartLink in its Rest ID will direct to NJ partypoker’s version of the MPP if its Rest ID is received on NJ partypoker, which will not be recognized as NJ partypoker does not already have its MPP version built or need its version to be built, so the direction will be to a broken, dead, or invalid page instead.

Therefore, for new NJ PartyCasino and NJ partypoker Projects, please build Rest ID Urls with Final URLs instead of SmartLinks, and for old Projects with CHRs to revisit, please replace Rest ID Urls with Final URLs instead of SmartLinks, and update to both Toaster and Overlay V2 formats.

Hello everyone,

For unlimited entry, PAT Leaderboard, the MPP secondary CTA has always been either See Standings for BetMGM or SEE STANDINGS for all other labels except BetMGM, for Leaderboards and Check My Entries for BetMGM or CHECK MY ENTRIES for all other labels except BetMGM, for Sweepstakes, directing to !!M2.Promo/offers/grouped?filter=cp, so that players are directed to the Filtered, Casino PAT Promotions Hub Page to search for the specific PAT Leaderboard, Promotions Hub Tile.

However, Alex visited our Canadian office and received feedback from Paul, sharing with us during last month’s CMS/OPS Monthly Connect that we should optimize our user journey with less steps, to become See Rankings for BetMGM or SEE RANKINGS for all other labels except BetMGM, regardless of Leaderboard or Sweepstakes, directing to !!M2.Promo/lb/PAT ID #, but with the PAT ID # replaced with the actual number instead, for example, 123456 for !!M2.Promo/lb/123456, so that players are immediately directed to the PAT Leaderboard Page, specifically the Ranking Tab in which the URL will automatically prepopulate and end with …/promo/lb/PAT ID #/ranking if a player has successfully opted-in and made an eligible or qualifying wager, or specifically the Overview Tab in which the URL will automatically prepopulate and end with …/promo/lb/PAT ID #/overview if a player has not made an eligible or qualifying wager yet.

Please note that this update is for single Promotional Period, unlimited entry, PAT Leaderboard, which is what is usually run most of the time, and the Parent Final PAT ID will not reproduce Children Final PAT IDs, since the promotion will start and end just once. 

However, this update is not for multiple Promotional Periods, unlimited entry, PAT Leaderboard, which is not what is usually run most of the time. For example, for this Promotion, the Parent Final PAT ID reproduced three (3) Children Final PAT IDs, since this Promotion will start and end more than just once, so the MPP secondary CTA can still be See Rankings for BetMGM or SEE RANKINGS for all other labels except BetMGM, regardless of Leaderboard or Sweepstakes, but directing back to !!M2.Promo/offers/grouped?filter=cp instead:

Everyone just a note when building tiered promos - I know we've done many like this in the past, but when naming the MPP URL, let's stay away from adding 'high core,' 'low core,' 'VIP core' etc in the link. Most of the time, users won't see it but on the off chance someone is on desktop and paying attention to where the link is directing them, the target group info shouldn't be customer-facing.

For example: https://www.mi.betmgm.com/en/mobileportal/promotions/casino/high-core-roar-to-riches-casino-challenge

We don't want that in the URL, so we can change it to a number like 1 or pretty much whatever you want that doesn't highlight the segmentation group.

Aldous & team are currently working on the Roar to Riches tickets, but just a note going forward when starting new tiered promotions. Thanks!

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the delay on this I was waiting for confirmations but just wanted to now confirm that the 500x500 story sizes will no longer be used on borgata and we will be using the 65x65 size in replace of the 500x500. I know Vivian has been working on this and it seems that the other sizes just weren't fitting correctly? But if you have any questions please reach out to Vivian and she will be able to assist!

noted on this! will the toaster creatives do for the story sizes?

Yes! In the borgata asset packs in the design requests for toaster, it is now "Story-Toaster (65x65)"

For Landing Pages

Hey all quick thing - 

Going forward, we are going to stay away from using 'REGISTER' or 'SIGN UP NOW' and instead stick with 'SIGN UP' On our end, this will mostly apply to landing pages - brand & acq is going to get us a list of active LPs at some point so we can make those changes (it's not a ton), but going forward when creating new LPs, even if the copy provided says 'REGISTER,' let's replace that CTA with 'SIGN UP.' Eventually all will have that in the request, but for tickets that were already briefed in, we can use 'SIGN UP.' This mostly applies to the Manila team and me

In any instance, REGISTER means to Register for the Tournament and not Register for an account especially because sometimes if you Pre-register for headliner Tournaments, you qualify for Prizes, as referred to in How To Participate the CTA should not be changed to 'SIGN UP'

Therefore, for both BetMGM MI and NJ, please push newly built web Carousels into home > Teasers, and please replace web Video Banners on homefeatured > GameVideos.

Hi all,

Hope all is well. I wanted to forward along this chain as a reminder. We’ve run into this problem in the past and want to make sure everyone is aware that when both Ops & CMS are both needed for a promotion, **CMS should not push anything live/make changes to PAT/EDS without having what we need from Ops. **This problem is most common when there is a change request/extension of a promotion. In the past, we’ve seen the same few issues:

  • Stakeholder does not add Ops in CHR
  • Stakeholder does not alert Ops of CHR nor add it to the In-Progress CHR chat

In this instance, the stakeholder included Ops on the CHR, but did not specifically alert anyone from the Ops team. Mike added a task for them and while that should be enough, we know at this point to over-communicate in situations like this.

Let’s continue to communicate and work together with Ops to make sure these tasks are done correctly. When extending/shorting promotions that require PAT/EDS, please be sure that Ops is aware and works on their tasks before we do. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out.
